Back of my mind
Everyone is capable of loving. Even the ones who died single, at one point had love someone – probably secretly. Anyone is capable of giving a love more than they should. They’d do anything for the one they love. They’d accept anything for the one they love. They will give it all. The depth of love is also immeasurable. However, the question is “How long are they willing to give all the love that they have for that someone?”
Sometimes, no matter how much, how deep, how strong is your love for someone, at one point you are gonna have to stop. It will hurt yes. Come to think of it. Let’s say you’ve been with someone for 7years. Long, right? You have lived more years than that. Meaning you should be able to survive the rest of your life with or without that person. You should. But could you?
They say that when we love, when we get hurt, we should blame our heart cause we never used our brain to love. But it’s the brain that dictates what our heart should feel. It’s the “back of your mind” that makes the decision. We tend to try to force ourselves to feel something, but the back of our mind still decides what we should feel. Not our heart.
In the end, we are all prisoners of this back of mind. Whether we love, get hurt, feel happy or sad. It’s the mind’s fault. Not the heart.
